Pricing questions
Is successful SynthID removal certain?
In testing since September 2026, I've examined 70 ChatGPT and Gemini images: their respective OpenAI and Google checkers detected no SynthID after processing in all 70 (100%). A provider could still find a signal in another image; processing doesn't certify human creation.
What explains the cost of the service?
I've invested considerable development time in getting the best image quality I can, especially for text and faces. The processing needed for this quality uses substantial computing power. Recent compute spending averages about US$0.10–$0.20 for each completed image, while the cost of a particular image can vary. I want to make the service more affordable over time as usage increases and I find ways to run it more efficiently.

How can I use the image API?
Images submitted through the API use image credits and do not use your free website allowance. Processing an image takes 1 credit, or 0.5 credits each when you upload 5 or more. API documentation
When is my available balance charged?
Here, daily free image, then signup images, then credits; Free capacity limits apply. Credits are spent only when your completed image is ready to download.
Am I charged if an image fails or I cancel it?
Processing failures and cancellations before readiness do not use credits; completed results with quality warnings use the agreed credits.
How can I save on bulk uploads?
Processing an image takes 1 credit, or 0.5 credits each when you upload 5 or more. Here, free images count toward the five-image bulk discount.
Can I ask for a balance refund?
Balance refunds require review. For a billing or image-processing concern, contact support@geminiwatermarks.com and we may offer compensation such as a refund or credit as appropriate. Approved refunds use the payment method you originally paid with; unused funds will be refunded if the service is closed.
How long will my completed files be downloadable?
Each completed image is available to download for one hour. Retrieve it before expiry. Deleting the output does not cancel a completed-processing charge.
